Medium in 3D Hit or Miss

Well. I watched Medium in 3D last night. Not everything was in 3-D, just Allison's visions. So everytime you saw the 3D logo in the left-hand corner of the screen, you had to scramble to put your 3D glasses on, and then take them off after the scene was over.

It was a pain in the butt. All I could think of was the multitude of people all over the country putting the 3D glasses on and taking them off...putting them on...and taking the off...in unison. The execs at NBC must have been chuckling to themselves knowing that they got us all to do this for an hour. (Actually, I gave up about 1/2 way though the show).

Basically, they constructed scenes that would have an element that was oriented towards the viewer in order to take advantage of the 3D opportunity...a cigar sticking out of a character's mouth...a knife sticking out of a victim's back...you get the picture.

I liked the episode though. I love the Medium.
